What this website does
This website presents information about Cornerstone Community Centre, its timetable, rooms, community participation and history. The timetable filters run in your browser and do not send your searches to the centre.
Get involved and room-enquiry forms
These forms prepare a structured draft in your own email app. The website does not submit or store the contents. Nothing is sent until you review the draft and press Send. You can instead telephone or speak to the centre in person.
Diary reminders
If you choose a diary reminder, the website stores the selected activity and its finishing time in your browser on that device. This is used only to highlight the activity until it finishes, when the saved website reminder expires automatically. The centre does not receive this information. Your calendar app asks you to confirm the separate calendar entry and handles it under its own privacy policy.
Shift Companion volunteer app
Checklist information in the Shift Companion iPhone, iPad and private web app stays on the volunteer's device by default. Central shift handover is optional, starts switched off, and sends nothing until the volunteer turns it on and presses Send secure handover. Turning it off stops future submissions but does not erase a record already sent to management.
An explicitly submitted handover can include completed and incomplete task identifiers, the shift diary and activity or incident notes, booking contact details, payment-checklist progress, and keys or equipment recorded as lent or returned. The authorised volunteer's email address labels the submission. A volunteer's personal “things to remember” list and location are never included.
Submitted free text and contact details are encrypted before storage. They can be opened only in the private management dashboard, and resubmissions and archive actions have an audit history. This facility is a digital handover; the Centre will continue using any required accident, safeguarding and financial records until management has approved the lawful basis, access roles, retention period and replacement procedure.
Volunteer sign-in
The private app uses Cloudflare Access. It processes the volunteer's authorised email address to deliver a one-time sign-in code and may keep an access record. The hosting service may also process basic technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, including an IP address, requested page, browser type and request time.
Contacting us
If you phone or email the centre, we use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry. Your email or phone provider may keep its own records under its privacy policy.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
The public site and volunteer app do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, visitor analytics or advertising identifiers.
An activity’s Website button can show the organiser’s own website inside this site, or open it in a new tab. Either way it is the organiser’s website, loaded only when you choose to open it: it may set its own cookies and follows its own privacy policy.
Your choices and rights
You can keep central handovers switched off and still use the checklist. You can remove local data by deleting the app or its browser storage. For access to, correction of, restriction of or erasure of an already submitted record, contact the Centre Manager. Some accident, safeguarding, financial or legal records may have to be retained; management will explain the reason and retention period that applies.
